Scientific value
In light of the rapid technological advancements and ongoing progress, the urgent and vital need to equip and standardize scientific research institutions for the benefit of new and younger generations has become increasingly evident. Addressing this necessity is imperative. Unfortunately, decades of prolonged wars, conflicts, and the resulting destruction have severely damaged the country’s higher education and educational systems, necessitating serious attention and preparation.
Universities, the Academy of Sciences, and other higher education institutions in the country have, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, neglected their responsibilities. This neglect has resulted in a significant shortage of lecturers and researchers, gravely impairing the functioning of higher education centers. Consequently, the processes of education and scientific research have experienced substantial setbacks, drastically slowing the country’s scientific growth. This situation has led to widespread disillusionment among academic staff and has weakened the motivation of Afghan youth.
